Professional Biography
Darice Collier is a student at Wayne State University pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Social Work with a minor in psychology. She has attended Wayne State University for 5 years, which she have attended during her whole college experience. She is a recipient of two scholarship awards, the Berry and Bertha Gordy Scholarship Award in March 2011 and the Gear Up Michigan Scholarship Award in June 2008. She is in the W.O.W program at Wayne State University, which is an online Bachelor's program. After graduating from the WOW program with her BSW, she plan on working with children/adolescents because she have a passion to help them. She plan on receiving her MSW as well to work as a clinical social worker. She has gained social work experience while being in the W.O.W program. She volunteers at the Salvation Army on the “Bed and Bread Club”. The Bread and Bed truck serves thousands of residents 365 days a year with food and other provision items.
